Tower of London

On Thursday Robert headed off to Canada for a week for his conference (very important hiking, I mean presentations. Hmmm). The kids and I took it slow in the morning and then headed out to visit the Tower of London.

Armed with blurry photos of the London transport system, we set off on a 1 mile walk followed by a boat ride to the Tower.

Lenny sort of looks like Hanna here. Weird!

Made it in to the Crown Jewels exhibit. Cool!  Surprisingly we were spellbound by the coronation video. We watched it at least 3 times in a row. I think they thought it was a scene from the movie Frozen... We had long discussions about whether the Queen was wearing gloves and if she was nervous like Elsa!

Hanna scored a princess crown to take home from the gift shop. Lenny got a toy dragon.

After a long nap at home, we played at the local playground.
